THE VENUE:

Wadhurst, a beautiful, historic village that's thriving in the 21st century.

There are fascinating independent shops - a gift shop full of unusal things, a clothes shop stocking international ranges & designs. The Art Gallery, owned by a local sculptor, displays fine art & crafts in a sixteenth century setting. The wholefood shop has been part of village life for many years and a new deli adds a continental flavour, the traditional greengrocer overflows with seasonal fruit & vegetables, the butcher is well known for quality produce, there's a chemist, a dentist, a post office, two banks and two Indian restaurants, plus the bookshop, a real find tucked behind pretty Victorian windows. And you can find art supplies, hair dressers, an internationally renowned maker of outdoor wear. The Greyhound Pub in the Market Square is at the heart of the village and the recently refurbished White Hart offers a taste of Italy with their made to order pizzas.
